Panchase Yoga & Immersive Art Trek

Overview:

This is the kind of journey people remember for the rest of their lives.

All the way to the Himalayan foothills of Nepal, to the birthplace of yoga, where mountains rise behind monasteries and daily life moves to a different rhythm. We’ll walk, practice, and create meaningful time inside a landscape that has shaped spiritual tradition for centuries.

In Nepal, everything feels bigger and older. The devotion, the altitude, the texture of ritual woven into daily life. We’ll move through sacred sites in Kathmandu, sit in meditation along the Bagmati River, and visit Kathmandu Art House to connect with the living creative pulse of the city.

From there, we fly to Pokhara and settle into Purna Yoga Retreat, giving ourselves time to land before visiting a nearby monastery to join in chanting and quiet reflection. That grounding carries with us as we begin the Panchase trek.

Our walking days are steady and accessible, three to five hours along forest paths and village trails. We stay in simple teahouses, practice daily, and carry art materials for creative practice work along the way. One full day in Bhanjyang is devoted to slowing down, creating, sharing music, and sitting with wide Himalayan views.

We return to Purna Yoga Retreat at the end for good food, warm showers, and time to let the experience settle.

SCHEDULE:

Day 1 – Arrival in Kathmandu

Overnight: Mulberry Hotel (****)

Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to the Mulberry Hotel.

Evening welcome gathering, grounding practice with Sarah, and shared dinner.

Day 2 – Sacred Sites & Art in Kathmandu

Overnight: Mulberry Hotel (****)

Morning yoga practice.

After breakfast, we explore key cultural and spiritual sites in the Kathmandu Valley by private

vehicle and on foot. Visits include Boudhanath and Pashupatinath, where we take time for

meditation and reflection.

In the afternoon, we visit Kathmandu Art House, a contemporary gallery space near our hotel,

anchoring the art theme of the journey.

Dinner is followed by a restorative practice.

Day 3 – Fly to Pokhara & Settle into Purna Yoga Retreat

Overnight: Purna Yoga Retreat (*****)

Morning practice and breakfast before flying to Pokhara.

Transfer to Purna Yoga Retreat. Lunch, time to settle, and afternoon yoga.

Day 4 – Monastery Visit & Retreat Day

Overnight: Purna Yoga Retreat (*****)

Morning yoga followed by brunch.

Excursion to a nearby Buddhist monastery to join the monastic community for chanting and

quiet reflection.

Afternoon restorative practice and trek briefing.

Day 5 – Begin Panchase Yoga & Art Trek

Pokhara – Khade – Australian Camp

Overnight: Simple Teahouse

Drive to Khade and begin trekking through forested hills toward Australian Camp.

Afternoon yoga practice with views of the Annapurna range.

Day 6 – Australian Camp – Bhadaure

Overnight: Simple Teahouse

Morning yoga followed by a gentle ridge walk through forest and village landscapes.

Restorative session in the afternoon.

Day 7 – Bhadaure – Bhanjyang

Overnight: Simple Teahouse

Steady ascent through oak and rhododendron forests.

Afternoon recovery practice.

Day 8 – Panchase Peak & Creative Rest Day

Overnight: Simple Teahouse

Early sunrise hike to Panchase Peak (2,500 m).

Afternoon creative session.

Evening acoustic kirtan and music circle.

Day 9 – Descent & Return to Purna Yoga Retreat

Overnight: Purna Yoga Retreat (*****)

Morning descent to Ghatichhina.

Private transfer back to Purna Yoga Retreat. Time to rest and integrate before dinner.

Day 10 – Integration & Closing

Program concludes at Purna Yoga Retreat

Gentle morning practice followed by breakfast.

Guests may extend their stay in Pokhara or travel onward with support.
